The MagnoSenz device

How the MagnoSenz device works

There are two types of MagnoSenz sensors;  one with a magnet at the back of the sensor box and the other one with a suction cup at the back of the sensor box for oven doors that magnet cannot stick to.  Both sensors perform the same function.

The MagnoSenz device is a very smart sensor.  It monitors the temperature on the oven door, it takes into account the temperature of its surrounding and sets an alarm once it senses the oven is on.  The MagnoSenz provides the user with time to cook, either a short cook or a long cook up to two hours.

After two hours if the oven is still on, the alarm goes off and after few minutes an sms is sent to the alert the user/contact that the oven is still on.

The MagnoSenz may be reset as soon as the alarm goes off if more than two hours are required for cooking.

When the oven is turned off and the tempearature on the oven door goes down, the sensor returns to standby.  There are two LED indicators on the front of the Sensor for standby and for cooking stages.

The MagnoSenz also monitors the battery voltage and alerts the user by audible alarm and by sms when the battery is low and requires changing.

The MagnoSenz comes with new battery installed in them which is designed to last mimimum of six months.  It can last for over one year if the audible alarm is not left on for too long.

Setting up the MagnoSenz device is just a matter of cleaning the suction cup(s) and the surface it would stick on.
